The Role

Due to an increase in project work leading to increased business opportunities, we are currently looking for an experienced consultant wanting to expand their skill sets through individual growth and learning opportunities. We are looking for someone who is able to consult on customer ERP implementations and on-going client work. The expectation is that you will have at least 5 years Pronto-Xi or other ERP consulting experience.The role of the Consultant will work closely with key stakeholders, Project Managers, 3rd party software systems, subject matter experts, and end users across all organizational areas to develop a strong, shared understanding of solutions to business problems.

Responsibilities

The Key Responsibilities include:
  • Understanding client’s business processes to providing advice on best practise
  • Host requirement workshops with customers to determine business requirements
  • Assist with defining customer's business goals and structuring plans to ensure the customer's vision is achieved.
  • Definition and documentation the important metrics that define success for the customer and more specifically the project/s
  • Analysing and documenting business requirements for an issue / enhancement
  • Produce business process documents to visualise 'As-Is' or 'To-Be' processes
  • Provide input into the project timelines for the modules and areas of expertise that you cover
  • Consulting on several modules in the Pronto-Xi application
  • Completing data migration activities
  • Completing and co-ordinating test plans
  • Conducting End User training to coaching team members
  • Develop and/or utilise existing reporting tools that monitor the key metrics of success for the customer and ensure the projects delivered show improvement.
  • Provide ongoing input and mentoring into the Consulting team to constantly assist with Digital Convergence's philosophy of continual improvement.
  • When required, complete support tickets and assist other team members with support tickets

Required Experience & Competencies

PRONTO Consultant within the PRONTO system, together with:
  • 5+ years’ experience implementing, administrating Pronto or other ERP system 2+ Years’ experience with 730 or above.
  • Experience in implementing Pronto-Xi or other ERP systems.
  • Experience in upgrading Pronto-Xi or other ERP systems Experience managing Projects with multiple resources.
  • Experience in Pronto-Xi modules such as WMS, Distribution, Manufacturing, CRM, or Point of Sale
  • Experience with documenting requirements and providing system design artefacts.
  • Experience with training, mentoring, and supporting customers for implemented systems.
  • Need to be able to manage implementation tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • You will always be open to constructive feedback and suggestions regarding approaches to solution options expressed by management and peers. This may also include following guidance and preferences of management in the direction to take on a solution to ensure quality and value.
  • You will have the ability to positively engage and influence individuals, teams, and project stakeholders to contribute and complete support activities. This includes proven workshop skills with the ability to flesh out possible issues, gaps and ensure a completeness of vision and implementation of support plans for the client.
  • You will be able to work as a team and strive for personal development for not only yourself but other members of the team. This includes mentorship and knowledge sharing with less senior team members than yourself.

Highly Desirable Expereince & Competencies

  • Prior experience in Pronto-Xi 730 or greater
  • Cognos Report Studio experience or other BI tools
  • Managing project implementations
Travel to customer sites may be required, and therefore an Australian Driver’s License, own transport is required. Responsibilities:

Depending on one’s skill level, the responsibilities could range from:
  • Managing support tickets from clients
  • Analysing issue
  • Determining solutions
  • Testing solutions and communicating to clients
  • Completing system administration
  • Conducting End User training both onsite and remotely
  • Developing documentation including
    • Business processes
    • End-User training
    • Customisation Requirements
  • Assistant to Senior Consultants as required with research, testing, documentation, and system setup

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Strong communication skills both written & verbal
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good understanding of business process
  • Highly motivated and able to work alone and as part of a progressive team
  • Profession phone manner

Experience:

  • Min 3 years functional business experience
  • Would suit a graduate or someone with a few years working with ERP software of Net Suite, Pronto, Epicor, MS Dynamics, Sage, etc. as a user or support or consultant
  • Pronto user experience is highly desirable
  • Previous support or helpdesk experience is highly desirable
